Puerto Psychology Practice (PPP) is currently a California telemedicine-only practice by licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Rosemary Puerto. Being a telemedicine/telehealth practice allows patients throughout the State of California to access our services via user-friendly, HIPAA-compliant software. Online payments (Credit card, Zelle, etc.) only accepted at this time.


PPP utilizes evidence-based methods to help patients reach their individualized goals. We currently serve those who have reliable access to the internet via computer (preferred), tablet, or smartphone:


  • older adolescents (16+),

  • adults (18+),

  • couples (heterosexual/LGBTQIA+) 

Puerto Psychology Practice provides treatment for a vast multitude of mental health presentations, life and/or relationship issues, including, but not limited to:

  • major depression 

  • anxiety/panic

  • trauma/post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

  • gender dysphoria/gender-affirming care

  • relational issues (parent/child; partner/partner)

  • anger/stress management​

  • communication issues

  • life transitions

Dr. Rosemary Puerto (PSY34241) is a CA licensed clinical psychologist who originates from the Bay Area, and identifies as a cis-het, multicultural (Latina/Filipina/American) female. Dr. Puerto contributes a strong background in community/social justice work throughout the Bay Area, and enjoys working with folks from all different backgrounds, especially BIPOC (Black/Indigenous People of Color), and LGBTQIA+ community members. She proudly provides trauma-informed, and gender-affirming treatment, knowing the importance of patient context. She delivers an interactive, "practice-what-you-preach" approach to online psychotherapy to work on treatment goals uniquely designed for every patient. Dr. Puerto aims to help patients experience change and growth-- the kind that increases self-awareness, self-compassion, and an understanding of self and others.


Dr. Puerto enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading books from different genres, listening to music, and playing with her beloved dog.
